10 Novembre 2008 Et voilà, c'est parti ! On est passé chez le notaire ce matin à 10h30, la maison est enfin à nous ! On a même recu les actes anciens, dont un de 1936: la maison avait alors été vendue 2100 $ !! Here it is, it's done ! We signed at the notary this morning at 10h30, the house is finally ours ! We also received old notary acts, one of them from 1936, the house had been sold back then for 2100 $ !! Immédiatement mon chéri s'est lancé dans la démolition, pour mieux distinguer les futurs espaces et volumes. Voici des photos de lui avant et après (dans sa belle salopette de travail achetée pour l'occasion!), accompagné de Eric, un ami: Immediately after my dear hubby started to demolish the walls we want to remove, in order to see the futur open spaces it will create. And now the highly symbolic moment of the 1rst hammer strike on the wall ! Voici le résultat, ils ont bien travaillé ! Le mur et le grand placard séparant la chambre et le salon ont presque complétement disparu, la structure en bois sera retirée plus tard (c'est porteur...). Félicitations à Alex et Eric !
